GBR - MODIS Aqua satellite Chlorophyll-a Data (UQ)

Ocean Colour data were derived from the moderate resolution imaging spectroradiometer (MODIS) aboard the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Aqua satellite. Data were acquired directly from the NASA site (oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov). Daily and monthly mean chlorophyll-a files have been generated at one kilometre spatial resolution for the GBR region from 10.0oS to 30.0oS and 142.0oE to 158.0oE for the period July 2002 to March 2010, and sub-regions thereof.  Monthly chlorophyll climatologies and longterm mean seasonal chlorophyll climatalogies have been generated for the eight-year period. Geophysical data are in logarithmic scale.
